|Ducati took the top prize in three categories at this year’s MCN awards. The top accolade of Manufacturer of the year went to the Bologna brand as well as awards for the Monster and Multistrada V4 S.
MCN awarded the Manufacturer of the year title to Ducati for its ‘sheer breadth of strength and success, innovation, product development and racing clout that saw Ducati emerge victorious.’
MCN also praised Ducati for its sales successes despite the challenging Covid-world trading conditions and its bravery when developing new products such as the Monster and Multistrada V4 S.
The Monster scooped the ‘Best Sub 1000cc naked of the year’, MCN lauding the Monster for ‘the way it makes its power to the no-nonsense way it carves through corners’ and described it as ‘a lot of Bologna beauty for not too much money.’ This followed the Monster being recently named Bike magazines ‘Bike of the Year’
For ‘Best all-rounder of the year’ MCN looked no further than the Multistrada V4 S. Richard Newland, MCN Editor was effusive in his praise, ‘Its one of the most comfortable and cosseting bikes if you are addicted to piling on the miles.’ ‘Few machines can come close for all-round excellence and sheer fun.’
