Milan (Italy), 12 November 2023 – The Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE wins the title of "Most Beautiful Motorcycle" at EICMA 2023. The verdict was reached by the public at the International Bicycle, Motorcycle and Accessory Exhibition, who crowded the pavilions of the Milan-Rho Exhibition Centre during the four opening days and voted directly at the Show or online.

The contest "Vote and win the most beautiful bike at the Show", organised since 2005 by the Italian magazine Motociclismo in collaboration with EICMA, sees this year the twelfth victory for Ducati. The Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE took first place with over 35% of the votes out of the approximately 25,500 enthusiasts, including visitors to the show and users of the Motociclismo website, who expressed their preference.

The announcement of the Hypermotard 698 RVE's victory came on Sunday 12 November, the final day of the Exhibition, followed by the official prize-giving ceremony at the 'Motociclismo' stand. Collecting the prestigious award for the Borgo Panigale company was Andrea Ferraresi, Director of the Centro Stile Ducati.

It was a special Sunday for Ducati, which not only won the title for the twelfth time in eighteen editions, but also literally triumphed at Sepang by monopolising the podium with Enea Bastianini, Alex Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia. With the results of the Malaysian Grand Prix, Ducati equals two absolute records for MotoGP: the number of 15 wins in the season, and the no less than five different riders (Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Martin, Zarco and Bastianini) who have won them.

The awarding of the "Most Beautiful Motorcycle of the Show" prize was the last act of an intense week that saw hundreds of thousands of visitors to the 2023 edition of EICMA, confirming the continued growth for the Milanese event.

The prestigious result achieved by the Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE is confirmation of the incredible interest aroused by the Ducati fun-bike, displayed on the stand together with the Superquadro Mono engine. Right from the start the public flocked to the Ducati stand, where the Borgo Panigale company displayed the novelties presented during the World Premiere 2024, which at EICMA 2023 experienced its seventh episode with the Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversary 916, whose 500 examples have all already been sold in just three days. The presentation event was also an opportunity to announce the dates of World Ducati Week 2024, which will be held over the weekend of 26 - 28 July, as always at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli".

Enthusiasts were able to admire the entire Multistrada family, enriched this year by the new V4 S Grand Tour and the V4 RS. The DesertX Rally was also a big hit with visitors, displayed alongside the DesertX in "RR22" livery.
The three Ducati Scrambler models Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift, protagonists of an off-show event that saw the participation of the artist duo Van Orton Design, and the new e-MTB Powerstage RR could not be missed.
All the bikes can be seen on the Ducati.com website, where the new configurator is now online, with which enthusiasts can create the bike of their dreams by embellishing it with Ducati Performance accessories, and, in the case of the new 2024 models, visualise it in different settings.

Also on display, of course, were the Panigale V4 R, which with Alvaro Bautista was confirmed as Superbike World Champion at Jerez, and the DesmosediciGP with which Pecco Bagnaia took on the first of the three final MotoGP races. Both bikes were displayed in the yellow livery used by the official MotoGP and WorldSBK riders in the Italian Grand Prix and, for the Superbike, also in the final round at Jerez. Also alongside them was the V21L electric prototype, dressed in the special livery inspired by Ducati's sporting history with which it captivated the public at the IAA MOBILITY in Munich. On Friday, the world champion Panigale V2 Supersport with Nicolò Bulega also took the stage.

Ducati motorbikes, and the many guests and friends who attended, enlivened the EICMA MotoLive stand and outdoor area. Ducati now awaits enthusiasts at World Ducati Week 2024. The date is set for the weekend of 26 - 28 July, as always at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli".
